ANALOOG (DUTCH)
A modern guide to analog photography
DUTCH VERSION
After years of shooting on film I’ve learned so many things that I wished I’d known when I just started out. Film photography has been the pinnacle of photography just before Digital started pushing it to the background. I rediscovered analog photography a few years back and fell in love with a tangible medium able to capture the subtle lines between memory and feeling. More and more people are discovering this too but feel hesitant to try it or just don’t have a clue where to start. With this course I want to bring analog photography back to the consumers of daily life. Break free from endless smartphone pictures and feel the magic of film photography.
I spent hours diving into anything I could learn about film and how to get the look I wanted. This course gathers all that knowledge into a simple guide to get you started with all the info that is out there (or not out there!).
So dust of your grandparent’s camera or grab yourself a thrift store bargain and dive into this unique course devoted to analog photography. I’ll get you started with the bare basics of photography and handling your gear. From there on we will take a look at some history and the brilliant options analog photography has to offer today! I’ll help you find your own style and film lab to get the images you want and even let you in on some DIY stuff like darkroom printing or scanning at home.
This course is made with love and devotion to a medium too good to go. It’s targeted for both the beginner photographer and the ones who want to give film a try. But also seasoned film shooters might find it a good read with some nice images to look at.
